Printing, LDAP, and schema.

Hi all,

I am running OpenLDAP 2.2.26 on a Solaris 9 machine. I have various
Solaris 8 and 9 and
Linux clients talking to it. I've pretty much got everything working the
way I want to except for
Printing. I found a .schema file that outlines the schema for
sun-printer and other various
attributes which looks like what Solaris' native lpq/lpr can talk to,
but the schema
is for Sun One directory server, not OpenLDAP. Is there either: a) some
utility to convert said schema
so that OpenLDAP understands it? or b) some pre-existing .schema for
OpenLDAP that will allow
Solaris 8/9 clients to talk to it for printers? All the printers are
really set up on one main Solaris print
host, I just need a way for it to be pointed to there in LDAP and have
it talk to it.

I tried asking this question on the OpenLDAP mailing list, but my
message got bounced by a
moderator for being off-topic, and that I should ask in here.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

   Thanks,

    Tom
