smc and LDAP automount entries

Hi,,
       I'm using smc 2.1(on a fully patched solaris 9) to manage a
SunOne 5.2 based LDAP authentication and directory service. The smc
toolbox was created with "smc edit" and seemed to require minimal
configuration apart drom the base dn. I basically followd the
instruction in

http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/content/misc/smc20_faq.html#LDAP

smc puts the automounter information in the wrong LDAP container
however and with tcorresponding wrong attributes. A working automount
container would be typically

dn:
automountKey=*****,automountMapName=auto_home,dc=maths,dc=bath,dc=ac,dc=uk
automountInformation: fileserver:/*****/******
automountKey: ****
cn: *****
objectClass: automount
objectClass: top

but the smc tool creates an entry
dn: cn=*****, nismapname = auto_home, dc=maths,dc=bath,dc=ac,dc=uk
objectClass: nisObject
objectClass: top
cn: ******
nisMapEntry: fileserver:/******/testuser
nisMapName:

automount entries not created by smc are fine (They were created by the
NIS+ to LDAP transition tools.) .

Any patches fixes known for this? The smc version is 2.1

Thanks

Bob
