 Thanks to all that answered,

  most who answered me said I should use the analyze function of format. The
analyze function of format has a purge function wich is doing nearly exactly
what I need.

Hello everybody,

 I am looking for a tool to delete harddisks according to the VSITR (german)
or DoD5220.22-M (US) standards to make the data unrecoverable. There are a
number of tools for windoes and linux around but I found nothing for
solaris. Does anyone knows where I can find something like this ?
