Concept of Clustering

Hi Sunmanagers,

I've spent the last 3 days running through the Documentation for Sun
Cluster 3.1 and have found some great information about 'sharing
resources' in a cluster, but I'm still unsure if this software will help
me or not. Maybe there is someone out there that can give me a quick
answer to back up my thoughts.

Do the resources (CPU, etc) on additional nodes to the cluster
automatically take over processing for the rest of the nodes in case of
high CPU load?

For example, I've got a box running an email server, web server, SunRay
server and file and authentication servers. The cpu load can get quite
high on this machine if there are 50 users logged into it.

Can I add a 'vanilla' Solaris machine into a new cluster and it'll do
some work for the main server?

Thanks in advance,

Greg Trahair
