Hello All,
I am planning to purchase a refurbished EMC CX300 with dual controllers and 15x146GB drives. I am thinking of attaching two sun servers to it with several Oracle Databases. My questions are the following

1) How much should it cost re-furbished and from where, if have gone through similar excercise.

2) Should I direct attach the servers first and do my migration and then connect to SAN, would it be posible without any data loss or etc, or do it other way around.

3) What software I must need to configure CX300.

4) Any RAID reccomendations

5) Can I use SUN DiskSuite for laying out FS on EMC?
