Veritas disk replacement

Hi,
 
I have a problem replacing a veritas VM disk with the vxdiskadm option 5
 

Exact Error Message

"vxvm:vxdg: ERROR: associating disk-media <veritas-disk-name> with
<Solaris-disk-name>:
Disk public region is too small"

The solaris version is 8

The Veritas VM version is 3.1.1

Please help me
