Hello All,
I have a question relating to the assignment of disk target ids and the
A5200. I have read many posts on this list and others about related
topics, but couldn't find the answer to my question. I am new to this
particular equipment. Please forgive me if this question is obvious in
some way. I don't understand why target numbers are not consecutive. Also
depending on the cabling of the A5200 targets ids are assigned
differently. I worries me to include targets in concatenations that skip
ids. Could anyone help me understand this?
Config:
E220R
Solaris 9
JNI FCE-6410
Solaris Driver 4.1.6
EZF 222
The front bay targets are 0-10
The rear bay targets are 16-26
Why are 11-15 skipped? I have run the various administration/configuration
commands, but the result is the same.
