SNMPv2 on Solaris 8?

Guys,

I want to send SNMP alerts to a management server.
The server wants to receive SNMP version 2 traps but
as I see the Solaris build-in snmpdx package still
sends v1 traps.

Is there any way to configure the daemon to send v2
messages?
