inetd issue in solaris

Hi All,

        I have a solaris 6 box and i just did init 6 to reboot the server
once .After that i found that the inet process were not coming up in the
system .I tried to manually execute /usr/sbin/inetd -s but that doesnt bring
up my in.telnetd . i tried to manually execute /usr/sbin/in.telnetd but i am
getting a error like stdin is not a socket file descriptor .

Pls help how to solve this issue
