Solaris Routing

Here's my problem. I have two servers that are attached to a load balancing
switch to load balance a web servers. The problem is the defaultgateway has
to be pointed back to the switch in order to work. Now in order for me to
reach the internet I have to add routes for each IP netmask range to use an
alternative gateway. This works fine but for our credit card payment
company (Verisign) we have to use a hostname because the IP is not static
and if I can't get to the internet obviously I am not reaching the DNS
server to resolve names. I tried adding a route to the DNS server and I can
ping the IP of the DNS server but I still cannot resolv names. Is there a
way I can add a range of IP address's in the host file so I can say
something like :

216.168.253.* payflow.verisign.com

So every time I call payflow.verisign.com it searches the entire range. Any
help would be appreciated I am really stuck on this one.

Thanks,
