Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the responses. It was really helpful. I spoke to my boss and
he wants us to buy SAN. Is SAN the same as external hardware raid? What
peripherals should we buy to implement SAN or external hardware raid? And am
I correct that when I install Sol10, the external configured disks(say
RAID5) is seen by Sol10 during installation as one logical drive?

Please bear with my newbieness in Solaris.
