SUMMARY: Samba on Solaris 9

Greetings,

In the end, I'm just going to reinstall the latest version of Samba
and not use the one that is included. Hopefully a fresh install of
Samba will clear up any problems.
I received some helpful responses to my problem (reprinted at the
end) and they include the following:

I would actually like to do this and use a newer version of Samba, but
my application isn't yet supported on Solaris 10.

Wasn't able to locate it, even using 'find'. Something funny with
this. This isn't my build of Solaris, so things aren't quite what
I'm used to.

This was quite helpful, once I get Samba reconfigured I'm going to
reference this (modified for my network, though).

Thanks,
