220R can't power on! urgent! help!

I have a 220R with sol8, the plan was to use it to test out some "new"
A5200s we just got. It had no issues whatsoever. (some of you may be
wondering, "does he work in a museum?" well, no, but I ask myself
that question about 5 times a day.)

I powered it off, and stuck in a couple FC cards, hooked the power
cable back up, and pushed the button. nothing. I took the cards out
and tried again. nothing. I rarely turn machines off, but I've
never had them refuse to power up. It was working, now I can't turn
it on.

I have a green light on the power suppy (not the wrench, the green
"I'm working" light) so it has power... the switch has to be bad,
right? well, in another cruel twist, the key is missing, so I can't
turn the lock... it's in the vertical position though, so the button
should do the trick... argh.

I guess i'm going to have to replace the lock, or the power switch, or
both. Has anyone done this? Should it be attempted at all? I really
need to get the stupid thing back up as soon as I can. arggh. I have
a couple of destroyed 420Rs that I can scavenge from (thanks to my
lack of a torque-driver and sun refusing to sell me one, but that's
another story altogether.)

Any ideas at all will be welcomed. I'll summarize though I'm sure
that it will be a largely academic excercise.

TIA for the help with the WTF,

wil.
