Best practises for oracle rac cluster

Hi folks,

Would like to check are there any best practises/proven for SunCluster 3.1 with Oracle 9i RAC in two-node solaris 9 cluster ?

For example
1. To have 3 cluster transport for interconnect communication bcos RAC
2. To use GE cards for interconnect bcos RAC
3. To use switch for interconnect instead of cross-cable
4 ......
etc......

Could yours please add to the list as much as possible if u think that is worth to highlight. Will summarize
