        Hi all gurus,

I'm working on an application which have some bad response time. The
technical product from which those following datas are extracted is C2G,
a Java search engine. I'm try to interprete those numbers :

# truss -fcp 24510
^Csignals ------------
SIGALRM 54
total: 54

syscall seconds calls errors
read .03 3999
ioctl .03 3999
poll .69 8482
sigprocmask .03 352
setcontext .00 54
lwp_sema_wait 1.70 13638 54
lwp_sema_post 1.06 13584
setitimer .01 132
lwp_mutex_wakeup .53 8685
lwp_mutex_lock 1.25 10130
send 1.37 4011
                     ------- ------ ----
sys totals: 6.70 67066 54
usr time: 9.35
elapsed: 63.09

What could you tell about that ?
I find that there are a lot of 'locks' and 'wackups'. What those system
calls mean ?
Thank you in advance
