detach veritas mirror

A simple request for you Veritas users. I have an encapsulated rootdisk
and mirror using vxvm 4.0. The server is running on the mirror. How do
I detach the mirror from the rootdisk to the rootmirror in Veritas. I
have /root, swap and /var volumes on the disks.
