Thanks to all who have supplied advice on this issue. Solaris Management
Console does allow me to manage the passwd.org_dir table although I couldn't
see how to manage any other NIS+ tables. I therefore tried to install Solaris
Management Center to see if this would allow me to do so. To date I have built
a NIS+ Replica server on Solaris 9 and can manage the NIS+ passwd table. Do I
need to upgrade the NIS+ Master Server to Soalris 9 also? In order to gain
access to the other NIS+ tables I am attempting to install the Management
Center on the replica server. This failed as I didn't have enough RAM. When I
looked inside the box, an Ultra1 I found two lots of 128Mb, I added more
memory but it appears that only 64Mb is being read at a time. How do I get mu
Ultra 1 to see the full 128Mb memory available in each module?

Hi Kevin,

Solaris Volume Manager is the name of the new product. It is even
integrated into Jumpstart these days.

Hope this helps.
