Hello,

I'm a newbie with solaris, and i just receive a Sun Fire 280R, with a
StorEdge A1000 and solaris 8 last download from SUN.

I have installaed the Raid Manager 6.22.1 but i can't make the server
recognize the array i get the following errors when i reboot:

Error while creating disks RDAC Symbolic Links: Unable to read /etc/osa/mnf or create /tmp/disksmnf.87
Re-generating rdriver.conf file ...
drvconfig: driver failed to attach: rdriver
Configuring the RAID devices
Error while creating disks RDAC Symbolic Links: Unable to read /etc/osa/mnf or create /tmp/disksmnf.343

There are no devices (controllers) in the system; nvutil terminated.
There are no devices (controllers) in the system.

fwutil failed!
Array Monitor initiated
RDAC daemons initiated
May 27 18:11:26 cgp /usr/lib/osa/bin/arraymon: No RAID devices found to
check.
May 27 18:11:27 cgp rdriver: ID[RAIDarray.rdaemon.1001] RDAC Resolution
Daemon locked in memory

And i have found out when i look at the back panel of the A1000 that the
controller fault led is on (orange)

Can anyone give me some pointers of what the problem could be.

Thanks very much.

JESUS
