Hello,
I have several Solaris(7,8,9,10) and Tru64(5.1a,5.1b) servers. I am
using NIS for user and host management. However, I want to change it
for security reasons. I am searching good tool for this purpose. My
preferences are
- preably running two different Unix (Solaris, Tru64)
- it may be commercial product
- I may use ldap or NIS+. However, i am not sure if they work on Tru64 or
not
Meanwhile I am writing a report about this issue. I am searching docs
and links about comparing Name Server Security (ldap, NIS+, NIS, etc
.. )
I thought someone might have professions about this subject.
Any advice, link, help will be appreciated.
