Can't read disk label

Hi,
        I have a problem with an IDE disk in a Ultra 10 machine running
Solaris 8. Its not booting up at all, and when I run the command 'probe-ide'
from the Boot PROM its not finding it.
        On booting its saying :

Can't read disk label
Can't read disk label package

Is there anything I can do to get the disk back? I've tried re-sitting the
IDE cable, but still no luck.
