Hi all,

I'm having a strange problem with a Sun E 4500: we just moved from our old
office to the new one and after have set the network up I tried to boot my
server. It worked fine until the system blocked at the folowing point:
"
configuring IPv4 interfaces: hme0.
Hostname: ****
The system is coming up. Please wait.
SUNW,hme0 : No response from Ethernet network : Link down -- cable problem?
checking ufs filesystems
/dev/rdsk/c0t2d0s3: is logging.

starting rpc services: rpcbind done.
Setting netmask of hme0 to 255.255.0.0
Setting default IPv4 interface for multicast: add net 224.0/4: gateway *****

"

at this point the server can be pinged from other servers but won't accept
connections.
Could someone please help me solving this blocking problem?

Thanks
