Folks -
In past listings on Sun Managers, there have been hints about st.conf
changes needed to support the HP VS80 DLT tape drive, but no actual entries
that I could find. HP's site has contradictory information as to support on
Solaris 9 for this drive, but no working entries.
Has anyone successfully made this tape drive to be recognized on a Solaris 9
box?
Specifics are:
Sun 420 R
Solaris 9 FCS with MU4 and a recent Rec and Sec patch cluster
HP DLT VS80
