Installing Infotrend RAID Array on V240

Hi,

I will be getting a Infotrend Eonstor A12U-G2421 SCSI-320 to SATA-II RAID
enclosure on a Sunfire v240. I will be using the on-board controller and the
v240 is running Solaris 9 (june/03 I think). The whole RAID volume is about
1.2TB. I would like to know if there are any gotcha's and what the best way
to proceed with the installation (Patches, etc). I have seen some issues on
the forum regarding drive geometry and such with number of heads and sizes.
I have checked Sun documentation and have seen there specs for cylinders and
heads as following:

Logical Drive 253GB-1TB: Cylinders < 65536, Head = 255 and Sector=variable.

In some of the postings it seems heads should be less than 65 as well.

Any input would be appreciated.

Cheers,
