All, I have a SUNFIRE V880 with 4x1.05Ghz Processors 8GB of RAM and 12
73GB Fiber Attached HardDrives. I have built a 5 Column Stripe with a
1024 StripeWidth. Im running some bench tests and it seems that Im at a
barrier of 96MB/s on reads. The server has Solaris 8 with Veritas
Volume Mananger 3.2 and I have vxtuned with the following below. Anyone
have any other ideas on how to get faster performance from the reads?
The drives are Ultra 360's. I have been using "dd" and "iozone" for my
benchmarking. I would think that I could get more I/O throughput.

msuawo0m:> ./vxtunefs /oragroup0
