Hi there,
I've managed to install Solaris 10 on to an intel box ok.
Also it recognises the network card and driver. What I can't do at the
moment is to assign its IP address as it fails after rebooting.

At the moment here is what I have :-

/etc/hosts

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.4.110 claymore loghost

/etc/hostname.elxl0

claymore

In the log file /etc/svc/volatile/network-physical:default.log its saying

Configuring IPv4 interfaces: ifconfig :setifflags : SIOCSLIFFLAGS: elxl0 :
Cannot assign requested address

Regards,

Alistair.
