Hi!

I want to attach a SCSI harddisk case (with two connectors at it) to two
different SUNs simulataneously and then use it from both machines
simultaneously, too.

Is this possible with a simple SCSI case or what is the difference between
this simple SCSI case and a maybe more sophisticated StorEdge hardware?

Do I have to setup different SCSI IDs for the SCSI host adapters for both
machines?

I know that this kind of sharing is possible with the StorEdge hardware and
Solstice Disk Suite (SDS). But do I really need the StorEdge hardware?

Reason: so far we have imported the harddisks using NFS on the other machine
but this is awfully slow for developing, i.e. compiling and linking.
