Hi-
I used to know this stuff inside out but I've been
away for several years. I am trying to create a Raid
1+0 volume out of 6 18GB disks. I've created the Raid
0 stripes with the following commands
metainit d10 1 3 c1t0d0s7 c1t1d0s7 c1t3d0s7

Problem is, when I go to newfs the raw metadevice it
tells me that the filesystem is only 355MB large.
What am I missing? I thought at first that is was
some kind of incompatiblity between HP hardware and
Sun but I get the same result using all Sun hardware.

some hardware info:

Using E-250 with 6 internal disks and 9 external disks
in an HP surestore SC-10. Creating one raid 1+0
volume out of 4 internals and one raid1+0 volume out
of 6 externals.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks

Craig Russell
