Onboard ethernet socket on Sun 240R

All:

I have several Sun 240R servers. Several were shutdown, un-racked, and
have been moved to another site. When reconnecting the servers network
connections, the RJ45 male cable connector does not "lock" into the Sun
240R "built in" female connector. It could well have been that
additional force and tools were used to take the cables out of the
systems when they were shutdown, one de-installer mentioned that the
connection were difficult to remove. I guess that I would expect one or
two to have suffered some damage, but more than 13 systems on one effort
and an unknown quantity of systems on another effort became damaged.
The quantity of the number seems odd.

My question to the list is has anyone else seen this type of problem,
i.e. the onboard ethernet ports not "locking" the RJ45 cable in place?

Thanks in advance for your help!!
