Hi,
am having slight problems with a storedge 6920 with disks effectively being unusable after the failed addition to a storage pool.
available disks should look like this:
sscs list -a array00 disk t2d14
Tray:2
Disk:t2d14
Capacity:136.72GB
Status:available
State:enabled
Role:unassigned
VDisk:
ones already in use:
sscs list -a array01 disk t0d13
Tray:0
Disk:t0d13
Capacity:68.36GB
Status:in use
State:enabled
Role:data
VDisk:disk/3/6/2/0/0
note that they're allocated to a vdisk
but after a failure in adding more disks/trays to a pool i have disks in this
state.
sscs list -a array03 disk t1d11
Tray:1
Disk:t1d11
Capacity:136.72GB
Status:in use
State:enabled
Role:data
VDisk:
note the lack of vdisk assignment. AFAIK all disks that are "in use" must be
assigned to a vdisk, but i appear to have disks "in use" without any assignment
although i suspect it's somehow been set to NULL.
Does anyone have any hints about rectifying this?
Geoff
