Solaris 9 and disksuite issues

Hi,

I've taken over a v240 which has been upgrade from sol8 to 9 without
removing disksuite(removing mirrors, patches config files, vfstab
entries etc).

The machine wont boot and it looks like during the upgrade it removed
the the bootblk and then tried to re-install it on a metadevice.

I have booted of cdrom, changed the vfstab and syatem file back to its
original state (without any reference to disksuite). I have hashed out
entries in disksuite files in /etc/lvm and re-installed the bootblk from
cdrom to the boot disk.

On reboot I get the following message:

{1} ok boot
Boot device: rootdisk File and args:
SunOS Release 5.9 Version Generic_117171-12 64-bit

The / file system (/dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s0) is being checked.
fsck: ioctl _FIOGETSUPERBLOCK error: Inappropriate ioctl for device

WARNING - Unable to repair the / filesystem. Run fsck
manually (fsck -F ufs /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s0). Exit the shell when
done to continue the boot process.

Type control-d to proceed with normal startup,
(or give root password for system maintenance):

I have run fsck on all partitions on the disk. The only reference fix I
can find to : ioctl _FIOGETSUPERBLOCK error a reboot -r which also
doesn't work.

Anyone got any ideas.

Thanks
Ben
