I need to purchase some printers that my Solaris machines
can print to but also that our windows and Mac OSX machines
can print to.
At one time Sun and Lexmark had a relationship which guaranteed
that Lexmark printers would work with Solaris. Is this still
the case?
I like the lexprt/markvision GUI/interface from Solaris and
it seems to have a lot of options for setting up queues
that go to specific trays on the printer etc.
I know HP printers work with Solaris via jetadmin and Xerox
works via xpadmin bit they seem to be less flexible with setting
up queues and options.
What are everyone's experiences?
