netra t1125, x86 jumpstart problems

Hi everyone

We recently rescued a Netra t 1125 which had been
removed from our data centre and was heading for the
skip. It's now being used for testing and practicing
installs etc. Unfortunately I've been having problems
actually doing anything with it yet, and was hoping
someone on the list could point me in the right
direction. I will of course summarise! Hopefully I'm
not doing something *completely* stupid..

The netra doesn't have a CD or DVD drive so I decided
to jumpstart it with Solaris 9 using an x86 install
server (which is a bog standard Compaq desktop called
bart, running Solaris 9). I've got a little standalone
network which I'm using for this. I don't have a sparc
system available to do the installs from.

I did the following to setup the install server:

mkdir -p /export/home/s9dvdsparc

then from the Tools dir on the install media

./setup_install_server /export/home/s9dvdsparc

This seemed to work OK. I then shared out the
/export/home/s9dvdsparc directory using NFS, and nfsd
is running.

Deciding to call the netra 'tester' I ran the
following from
/export/home/s9dvdsparc/Solaris_9/Tools:

./add_install_client tester sun4u

which resulted in the following in /etc/bootparams (NB
- I amended bootparams to have the ip address and not
the hostname of bart as I have no name service on this
network (I've also tried leaving it as it was to no
effect)):

tester
root=192.168.2.4:/export/home/s9dvdsparc/Solaris_9/Tools/Boot
install=192.168.2.4:/export/home/s9dvdsparc
boottype=:in rootopts=:rsize=32768

I've also added the correct ethernet address for
tester in /etc/ethers:

8:0:20:c4:e3:48 tester

Now onto the netra's console and after sending break
to get to an OK prompt I do the following. It all
seems to be working OK (finds the x86 machine, there
is traffic, picks up right ip etc) until the 'Killed'
message appears and the netra gets stuck in a loop.
It's worth noting that I do NOT have the root password
for the netra:

screen not found.
Can't open input device.
Keyboard not present. Using ttya for input and
output.

Any ideas anyone? I just can't get past this point -
choosing any run level results in the following:

ENTER RUN LEVEL (0-6, s or S) [2]:s

INIT: SINGLE USER MODE

INIT: execle of /etc/sulogin failed; errno = 2

ENTER RUN LEVEL (0-6, s or S) [2]:6
