Hi Gurus,
I have L1000 Tape Library installed on Solaris 8. I was using Legato 5
to take the backup and everything was fine. Recently we moved to BakBone
backup software. Since we installed this software nothing is going right
with it. We are getting intermittent failures on scheduled backups.
When we approached BakBone tech support they are convinced from the
BakBone logs that its L1000 tape library issue and not their software. I
am not sure what the issue is as it was working fine before. Is there
anyway we can test if its Library issue /DLT 7000 Drive inside
Library/Media issue/software issue?
It works one day and fails on another.
Below Is the error on BakBone Logs:
DATA 108 0 220113 Decrement semaphore 1
DATA 126 0 220113 Got receive buffer 25731 (3), with 32768
bytes
CAM 180 0 221614 Fatal error from IOCTL (I/O error)
SCSI 15 0 221614 CMD failed: errno 5
Any suggestions/help will be appreciated
