V880 won't boot?

Hi - hoping someone can help me with a problem I've been asked to look
at.

Platform:
SunFire V880
8GB RAM
12 X 36GB internal disks
Solaris 5.8 108528-22

Server as far as I can tell has been running fine, was rebooted this
morning and now will not boot. But just continually loops with the
following messages:

Boot device: /pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@2/fp@0,0/disk@0,0 File and args:

the "/" partition - c1t0d0s0 + c1t1d0s0.

If from the "ok" prompt I boot from either disk or disk1 I still get the
exact same errors over and over again.

I am not to concerned with the error "sorry, variable 'enable_sm_wa' is
not defined in the 'kernel'" as this has been there since a patch
cluster was installed a couple of years ago and has been rebooted since
so am sure this is not the problem?

But the error "Cannot mount root on /pseudo/md@0:0,0,blk fstype ufs"
does seem a little worrying and maybe where the problem lies.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks - Julian.
