Greeting,
Hurrying to setup jumpstart server for our sparc machines due to
original sparc jumpstart server is end of lease.
My new machine is Sun Jave Workstation W1100Z
#uname -a
SunOS Julie 5.9 Generic_117172-12 i86pc i386 i86pc
After I put the solaris 9 cd into the cd drive, and goto
Solaris_9/Tools, I have released I can not run setup_install_server
anymore, because the the machine itself is not sparc machine. (the
directory layout is different for CD).
How can I setup jumpstart for sparc using a x86 solaris machine? Do I
have to see the sun box as Linux box and setup jumpstart manually? Or I
can do it mach easy by
Run some script as setup_install_server?
Any comments will be appreciated
