Hi admins,

I have a V480 with Solaris 9 and it's have 2 issues.

Issue 1.-

When any user loggin into server, it's shown the Login prompt, type the
username, then Enter and type password then Enter, so here are the issue,
the Sistem Operative Prompt it's shown back one minute later.

We have two DNS servers, this server just have one DNS server configured,
i add seccond DNS Server on /etc/resolv.conf.

The /etc/nsswitch.conf, just have a hosts: files, i add dns on this line.

I plan to restar the server the next week.

Can somebody confirm this resolution????

Issue 2.-

On a time, this server was working with a nfs filsystem mounted. For a
electric cause, the NFS server shutdown, so the NFS filsystem mounted on
the client it's not displayed any more. The issue it's that i run df -k
command and the result is all filsystems mounted, but the S.O. prompt
it's not shown back, so i have that type Ctrl-C.

THe NFS Server was started two days later, so the i don't remember what
is the NFS filesystem that was exported.

I thinks that restart can fix this issue.

Onre more time, can sombeody confirm this.???

Any idea???

Thanks in advanced

Pablo Salazar
