Solaris 8 on x86

Hi All,

I have installed Solaris 8 on x86 machine. The installation was successful. Applied the latest Recommended and Security patches.

I have installed and configured two Network Cards on it. Ifconfig -a shows both card up and having their own mac address.

I can not ping or telnet both the cards at the same time. Only one NIC works at a time means I have to make one NIC down then only other NIC can be ping or telneted.

Note : - Both the cards are working properly, Patch Cord is proper. No error messages in system log. No multipathing is configured yet.

Any pointers are welcome.
