I have 7 V440's that were setup identically loaded identically and
patched identically (all were done from a central server with scripts),
now when i try to log in via ssh to my personal account i get refused on
1 system. While logged into the console on that box and try to su -
rolsen it errors with "no directory", if i use su rolsen it errors with
"no shell". I have added the account numerous time via adduser (w/ w/o
-m making the dir), vipw, and a straight vi of passwd (pwconv) with the
same issues. the 1 system is the only one to give me problem, all others
let me log in normally. I have checked for differances in pam.conf as
well as other files and am now totally bewildered.

Can anyone help

Richard W. Olsen,
UNIX Administrator
