T3 and Qlogic FC HBA issues

Hi all,

I am having some problems configuring a Sunfire V440 connected to 3 T3+
arrays via a Fiber switch. The SF V440 is running Solaris9 09/04. Each
T3+ array has 9x36GB drives configured as RAID 5 + hot spare. vol1 is
the sliced into 3 partitions. The T3+ array that I am working on , has
one of the partitions (60GB ) being accessed by E5500. I had created a
134GB slice to be accessed by the V440. Due to some issues, the earlier
administrator had not enabled LUN masking, all slices have rw perm to
any machine that is hooked to the switch (no zoning). I can see the
V440 HBA on the switch, when I use the show topology command.

I have installed 2 Sun StorEdge 2G FC HBAs. Intially I had a problem
with the default QLC drivers. I then found that the cards used the
QLA2310F chipset, so had to download the QLA2300 drivers from the
Qlogic website. I have installed the SAN 4.4.4 Foundation kit

Running the format command, I can see the slices on the T3. Since I
don't see the WWN of the T3's, I can't associate the disks with a
particular T3. Trying a lookup on the partition table of each disk ,
doesn't show me a 134GB partition.

I've tried devlinks; devfsadm with no success. I also try cfgadm -al.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Vinay
