Any one got any ideas?

6500 is hanging on the loop back test with cursor sticking on the "internal
loopback test-" line without moving to the next line.

Machine conversation is:

{9}ok watch-net-all
/pci@2,2000/pci@2/network@0
Internal loopback test --

I have replaced the Ethernet card and now the watch-net-all openboot command
still hangs at the loopback test and it hangs whether or not the ethernet
cable is inserted. The conversation is as follows:

{0} ok watch-net-all
/pci@2,2000/pci@2/network@0
Internal loopback test --

The hang is fatal and the machine can only be powered cycled to recover.

I've been racking my brains....Anyone got any suggestions?......6500 is
configd to boot from network....IP address is correct etc.....HELP !
