Problem configuring SSEL for Solstice CMIP 9.0

Hi,
I have installed Solstice CMIP 9.0 software package on my ultra-5 Sun
workstation. I have Solaris 8 installed on my machine with the
recommended patches for Solaris 8.
I want to configure the SSEL (Session selector) & TSEL (Transport
Selector) values to values different than the default values (default
SSEL='Prs' & default TSEL='CMIP'). (These are configured under
'SESSION_SEL' and 'PRESENTATION_SEL' headings in the
/etc/opt/SUNWconn/cmip/cmip.conf configuration file)
But in the Adminstration guide for Solstice CMIP it is written that
the SSEL value can't be more than 4 ASCII characters or 8 hexadecimal
digits in length. Similarly, TSEL is also restricted to the same
length.
The requirement for my CMIP application is:
SSEL=<6 ASCII characters>
TSEL=<0 ASCII characters> i.e. TSEL=empty string

So I have 2 problems here:
1) I can't configure SSEL > 4 char & TSEL= 0 character.
2) When I run my CMIP application and try to do a mp_bind( ) -- bind a
session-- call with a SSEL which is different than the one configured
using cmiptool, I get a communication error in the mp_bind( ) call.
How can I use a different local SSEL for my CMIP application, other
than the one configured using cmiptool ?

Please help me if you have any idea on this because my CMIP
application is listening for CMIP associations from a remote switch
and the switch tries to connect to my CMIP application using SSEL=<6
char> & TSEL=<empty string> and X.121 address (NSAP) for my machine.

Thanks,
Chinmaya Mishra
