Hi there gurus,
I have a Solaris 8 machine which is running jrun3.1. At the moment
if I do a prstat or a top, its saying the CPU for the process is at 93%
load averages: 2.14, 2.11, 2.10
huaps01 13:50:58
118 processes: 115 sleeping, 1 stopped, 2 on cpu
CPU states: 1.8% idle, 33.4% user, 64.8% kernel, 0.0% iowait, 0.0% swap
Memory: 2.0G real, 667M free, 1.2G swap in use, 4.3G swap free
PID USERNAME THR PR NCE SIZE RES STATE TIME FLTS CPU COMMAND
8740 aps 42 0 0 281M 243M cpu01 128.8H 0 93.19% java
Other than the /var/adm/messages log or the actual application logs, is
there anyway of telling why this is at 93%?
Is there another system log I could look at?
Alistair.
