Hi,
can someone help?
We have just bought HP designjet 500 which is now integrated to our network
and has own IP address. Printing wok well from PCs but not from our SUNs.
using hppi and using diagnostics shows that this printer is accessible from
our server but attempt to add this using
option 2) JetDirect Configuration failed because IP address is already
assigned. Which is true as this was done
by NT IT personnel and hence this enable us to print from PC.
I only know one way to add the printer - this is done through admintool as I
am not a expert.
This is where it failed - can not add - I choose the option 'access to
printer' as it makes sense that
the printer don't exists locally.
Any suggestion and help on how to do this ?
