Yet more strange NIS+ issues.
We have a brand new V120 with Solaris 9 configured. This box has never been
under NIS+. When the passwd field has the setup of:
passwd: files nisplus
group: files nisplus
We are unable to change passwords for local accounts. When the there we
have no problems. Before anyone says it I know the token shouldn't have
been there, but the real problem is that the name service libraries are not
following the authentication pattern listed in the nsswitch.conf file. We
want it to look at files and then allow a password change.
Anyone see this behavior before?
