BCV with SDS -> Metaset?

Hi Forumers,

We have a media server configured here that imports BCVs from our client
boxes via SymCLi + Veritas Volume manager. This process runs OK, but we
have to include a server here that uses only SDS (SVM) and we need
import it somehow. Both servers run Solaris 8.

Is metaset our answer? It is not currently configured on the clients
box. The part that worries us is:

http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/817-2530/6mi6gg8av?a=view

"Do not add a drive with existing data that you want to preserve to a
disk set. The process of adding the disk to the disk set repartitions
the disk and destroys existing data."

Well, if we assume this, we cannot configure it on the client's box
because it is on production.

Does anyone have any idea how can we mount the filesystems/ see the
metadevices from the BCV correctly? Can we mount the slice directly?

Thanks in advance,

Filipe Litaiff
