Hello,
I am about to replace a 480 R system running Solaris 8
with SUN 890R with Solaris 9. I have done the
application testing, and it is working I would like to
know what is the best method to replace the systems in
SAN Environment.
480R system is now connected to Qlogic Switchs with 1G
F-Cal Card * 2 for DMP. The new 890R system is with
Dual channel single qlogic card with 2G speed. I am
aware that i need to change things at Hitachi DAMP for
the volume management. The New 890R will be connected
latter part of this month to the newly ordered Brocade
(3850) SAN Switches, so need to plan accordingly,
wanted to know if qlogic and brocade can work
together.
Is there any experiences about the above,
