Hi - have just moved one of our Sun E220R's between data centres and now
it won't boot?
Spec. is:
Sun E220R
256mb RAM
2 x scsi disks
1 x 360mhz cpu
Solaris 9
Server powered down ok, moved to new location + switched on.
All I got was "Data access error".
So switched server off, took lid off & just checked memory, cpu's etc
were seated which they appeared to be. And powered the server back on.
Now I get the startup banner + "Initializing memory" which completes,
but then nothing?
I managed to get the server to the ok prompt + did a probe-scsi-all
which shows my 2 scsi drives + cd rom which is all correct.
But again if I try to "boot" it never gets further than the
"Initializing memory" stage.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance - Julian.
