in.telnetd problem

Hi gurus.

Got an issue. I upgraded the /etc/rc2.d/inetsvc
script, specifically the very last line of the file,
from "/usr/sbin/inetd -s &"' to /usr/sbin/inetd -s -t
&". I ran /etc/rc2.d/inetsvc stop and then
/etc/rc2.d/inetsvc start. Well, after that, it turns
out that there was more that one telnet daemon
running, so now in /var/adm/messages is this:
"telnet/tcp: bind: Address already in use". This is
an E220 with Solaris 8. The machine has been up for
nearly a year, so the latest patches aren't on it. We
now can't telnet into the box. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
