Hi,

We have a 3510 providing SAN to several hosts. One host recently
reported in messages and VxVm a wite error against a cetain block
located in a plex. We have created another lun and plex and the host is
happy now but when we try to use the old lun we get the same write
errors. We suspect bad sectors on one of the disks but ...this is where
it gets interesting. We can't map the lun back to the physical disk
because we have for some time now been having problems where "show
lun-maps" causes the array to hang. I've had the call open with SUN now
since the 5th of this month and we're getting knowhere fast.

Does anyone have any idea how we identify the physical disk that is
failing and I'd be interested to hear if any of you have experienced
similar problems with "show lun-maps". All firmware is up rev!
