RE: find devices from "md" driver instance (output from "sar")

To avoid any confusion (I got some replies in that sense):

what I do NOT need is the definition of my metadevices (like "d0",
"d121" or so) from the well-known "metastat" command, but what I need
is the correspondence of a "md" driver instance like "md3" (see output
of eg "sar -d") with the underlying meta-devices.
>From the meta-devices I can happily find back the physical devices,
there is no question about that.

thanks a lot for any hint

Subject: find devices from "md" driver instance (output from "sar")

Hi,

in the "sar -d" output, the DiskSuite driver instances "md[0-9]+" are
mentioned, (like "md3") but how can I relate this back to the physical
devices/volumes underneath ?
The "md" driver is not included in "/etc/path_to_inst", and "metastat"
shows me only info about the metadevices (like "dN").

Searched the web, man-pages etc, but no answer.

TIA

Rob
